Man charged with murder in Horncastle

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of a woman in Horncastle.

Mohammad Raees Mohammad Rahim, of Warwickshires Way in Horncastle has been charged with murder. He has been remanded to custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Monday 6 April. 

We are also now in a position to name the victim as 27-year-old Khyali Jana Rahim Bad Shah.

Her family have been made aware and are being supported at this difficult time.
